C4IIoT Sponsoring the 3rd Workshop on Cyber-Security Arms Race (CYSARM)
C4IIoT project (with the collaboration of ASSURED, RAINBOW and Puzzle) is happy to announce that will sponsore the 3rd Workshop on Cyber-Security Arms Race (CYSARM) at a prestigious venue as the ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security (CCS, South Korea, Hybrid Event), on November 19th, 2021.
Although CYSARM is at the early phases (this year marks the third edition of this workshop), the workshop is already fostering collaboration among researchers and practitioners to discuss the various facets and trade-offs of cyber-security.
Being the first workshop of its kind, CYSARM benefits the cyber-security community by addressing novel (and often controversial) topics in cyber-security, such as trade-offs and double-edged sword techniques.
The Call for Papers is now online! Please consider submitting your papers, deadline is July 9th, 2021. cysarm.org.
We hope that you will find CYSARM’21 program interesting and thought-provoking and that the workshop will provide you with a valuable opportunity to share ideas with other researchers and practitioners from institutions around the world.
More details about the Workshop
Cybersecurity is a complex ecosystem that is based on several contradicting requirements. For this reason, it is often defined as an arms race between attackers and defenders: for example, when a new security model or algorithm is devised, it could act as a double-edged sword since it might both enhance the security posture of a system and introduce additional vulnerabilities.
The goal of the CYSARM workshop is to foster collaboration and discussion among cyber-security researchers and practitioners to better understand the various facets and trade-offs of cybersecurity and how new technologies and algorithms might impact existing or future security models.
Paper submission deadline: July 9, 2021 11:59 PM AoE (UTC-12)
Notification of acceptance will be on August 13, 2021.
Submissions are now open on EasyChair.
